2011 Winter Gala
Another excellent GCR event. Photographs were taken in mixed weather over the Friday and Saturday. Locomotives running were visitors 3717 'City of Truro', 61994 'The Great Marquess', 14xx 1450, 55xx 5526 and newly repainted 3850. These were supplemented by resident Black 5 45305, 4953 Pitchford Hall, and the familiar N15 'Sir Lamiel' (not featured here)

2010 Winter Gala


A Superb first event of the year from the Great Central Railway. Eight Locomotives in steam, including the Preservation debut of Jinty No. 47406, and a return to steam for 44767 George Stephenson.
When assembling this gallery, I realised that missing from this page is my photos from the GC through 2009, and I will endeavour to put these up over the coming weeks.
